I travelled from Myrtle Beach to purchase a bike from Motorcycles of Charlotte. I contacted Fairfield prior to the trip and worked the pricing out. He did a great job and all went well. When I picked up the bike it was clean and ready to go. Fairfield went over the features of the bike with me and helped me to sync my phone. Several staff members helped with getting the bike on the trailer and strapping it down for the ride home. It was an overall great experience. I will be back in a few weeks to get a new exhaust on the bike. The parts and service departments have been great to deal with. "

"First I would say EVERY employee Ive interacted with at your dealership was helpful BUT Fairfield was tops. 6 months earlier to me buying my BMW r1250r I talked to Mr Fairfield about getting into riding after a 30 year hold (Raising kids and airline job kept me busy). He said to take the BMW/Harley riders course to brush up and practice before buying, which I did. He was instrumental in my selection of a bike that fits my needs. As a side note the Service Manager I talked to about 1st service was helpful to scheduling my work at 600 miles. What a GREAT buying experience. Bought my 2022 S1000RR at this dealership. Bought the maintenance package and was it worth it. I take it for service and everything is taken care of. They always take good care of my bike. It is BrenTuned so they know not to update the computer. I let them know and never had a problem. From my very first contact with the sales manager over the phone, to riding off into the sunset on my new BMW, this the absolute best vehicle purchase experience I've ever had. Everyone was friendly, laid-back, but professional. I feel like they listened to what I wanted and then they made suggestions. At no time ever did I feel like anyone was pressuring me or pushing anything on me I didn't want or need. Once the purchase was completed, the service manager took time to explain the features of the motorcycle, gave me some excellent break-in advice, and answered all of my follow-up questions. I have previously purchased two motorcycles from Motorcycles of Charlotte, and they have always been the example of how motorcycle shops should operate. Friendly staff, low pressure sales, and excellent service. As of last week, I can say that the group at Motorcycles of Greensboro hold that same high standard. Greensboro had a used motorcycle in stock that has been on my "gotta have" list for quite some time. I drove up from Charlotte, showed up unannounced and without an appointment, and asked to see the bike. Within a short time, my sales rep and tru motorcycle guru, Paul (awesome dude) had the bike fired up, his bike pulled around, and we were on the road for a test ride. Came back to talk, grabbed a Coke, and finished the deal. No haggling needed. Fair upfront price on a great bike. Done deal. I have always recommended Motorcycles of Charlotte to my friends, now I am adding Motorcycles of Greensboro to that recommendation. Same great service with super friendly people. "What can I say I have known John Brannagan for maybe 15 years and he never disappoints. I wanted to get a fly screen for my Bonneville and he walked me through all the choices and gave me advice on what he sees selling the best and performing well. This was all done over the phone because of the Stay at Home order. He directed me to the website for the items he was recommending. Now I just have to wait for my order to arrive. I discovered a 2012 BMW G650gs some months back with very low miles and in great condition. My lady has a 2009 and she loves hers! So, having a weakness for bikes of all kinds, I brought my new prize home! In fairly short order, she exhibited a tendency to fail to re-start after a brief shut-down, such as a stop to fuel up. This was intermittent, so I wasn't certain I actually had a real problem, but the occurrence of this inconvenience was kind of a pain to say the least. So I went to Motorcycles Of Greensboro for a consult. They found a service bulletin about a compression release valve that could result in a difficulty in re-starting a warm engine on my beloved G650gs. I delivered my bike to them, and they called a few days later letting me know it is ready to pick up! When I arrived, I asked if they might recommend a valve adjustment? The service staff replied "We've already done for you." ! Wow!
I can't say enough about how competent and attentive my experience was on this visit! Would I recommend Motorcycles Of Greensboro to others? Absolutely yes! Warranty issue with Ducati
Paul was first to check me in when I returned my unrideable bike. He did not commit to anything but stated for me to not worry about repairs as he felt they would be covered under warranty. Michael took over the process from there and while there was a brief delay in communication early in the process he kept me up to date and let me know the bike was covered and repairs were being taken care of by Ducati. Do yourself a favor if you're in the market for a new/used bike - work with the team here. They're awesome! I was looking for a used bike in my local motorcycle shops' inventory using their websites. I looked at, and test road bikes in 2 other shops (Matthews, and Freedom Drive), and found myself test driving several bikes at the BMW-Ducati-Triumph dealer, and worked with Charlie (he handles the Internet sales). I returned a few days later on Saturday and re-test drove a used 2013 Triumph Bonneville (with 600 miles). I'd like to sum up that the entire experience from beginning to end was top notch and pleasurable. When each person knows exactly what they're doing and how to hand things off to the next - the whole process goes smoothly. Their insurance guy quoted me Progressive Insurance, and beat my existing coverage by almost half! The owner's wife drove my car home for me with another sales guy (30 minutes each way), and left it in my driveway - this way, I got to ride my new bike home from the dealer immediately after purchasing it. Talk about customer service! ;-)

Went to look at a used bike, first time at the new shop on Westinghouse Blvd, ended up buying new as they pulled a bike with 0.0 miles off the floor for me to try. I had a phenomenal experience Saturday. The facility is top notch. They have many bikes to look over and choose from, but what makes it better, their staff knows about every single bike. Richard is a great Sales Manager, very easy mannered and professional. Charley was insanely knowledgeable on every bike. He listened to me for hours and helped me narrow down my selection. Went over all the pros and cons. They allowed me to test ride the final contenders and they stayed way late so I could take it home that night. All with a smile. I really can't say enough. I just wanted to drop you a quick note to share my thanks for the ongoing and outstanding service I receive from your team at MOC. Today, was just another example of why I keep coming back. I came in due to a recall of the fuel pump on my 07 K12GT. Overall, fairly routine visit, but that is where the outstanding service begins. Michael came into the movie room to find me and let me know the status. My fuel pump needed replacing and he didnt feel I should ride it home. So, now Im stuck about 40 miles from home. Michael could have easily just made that my problem and it was my problem. BUT, he needed to pick up a bike that was up my way, so he suggested that I just ride up with Chris from your service department. My problem was solved!! Chris was interesting to talk with on the way home and I hope he stays with MOC for years to come. But, thats not the whole story. Before I left MOC, DeLong noticed my license plate was about to expire and asked if I needed an inspection. I did already get this done, but that was above the call of duty to help me out. Not only is he helping with the fuel pump, I had an issue with my clutch over the weekend and in talking with him about it, DeLong recalled replacing it about a year ago. Wow!! DeLong knew the history of the bike. Awesome! Well, maybe this wasnt such a quick note, but worth the time to write. Today, I received outstanding service from Michael, DeLong and Chris. In the past, I have received the same outstanding level of service from Steve and Travis. So, it shows that everyone is working together to get me taken care of and make it as pleasant of an experience as they can. My bet is that they arent even thinking about how to make me happy, its just what they do. Its not fake or forced. Its just awesome. My thanks to MOC. Im a raving fan!

I called parts today because I wanted the lenses for the turn signals for a Brutale. Thomas, in parts, took the call and said that he'd research the issue and call me back. Got a call back in 10 mins. He said the part was not available through the store but he did forward me the link from where I could order it directly. I just successfully completed the MSF motorcycle basic rider course here. The course helped me understand the proper and safe way to ride. The instructors, Diane and Chuck, were my biggest supporters. They were positive and fun. They took the time to coach me. I had never ridden a bike before this class. Now I can ride! The owners, Mark and Gail Engel, are the friendliest nicest people. They even made our class lunch on Saturday and Sunday! Top notch treatment from a top notch Shop.

I meant to write this earlier but am glad I waited as I have much to add. I bought a 1997 R1100RT in Texas and decided to "check it out" on a trip to Charlotte. I called your parts department for a rebuild kit for the front brake master cylinder. I was so impressed by the genuine care your folks showed me that I decided to let them do the rebuild and adjust my clutch cable. Delong Lee is a class act. He took the time to talk with me about what he had done and he told me that he noticed my rear shock was showing signs of leakage. Riding two up over the next two days confirmed rear shock issues and I called John Brannagan to order an Ohlins. I needed to get back to Texas but I knew I wanted my bike repaired at your shop. I have been riding all my life. I have never had a helmet that didn't leave a hot spot on my forehead. I have spent lots trying to remedy this. It can get quite miserable. While we were waiting for the shock to be installed, casual conversation with John on my helmet issues brought him from around the counter with a tape measure. I have never had anyone actually measure my head. He tried me in different hats with different shapes until we found the one that provided even pressure all the way around my head. I was so confident that he had finally nailed my problem, I special ordered an Arai and stuck around to wait on its arrival. My girlfriend bought a matching hat. Once again, casual conversation brought John from around the counter on the subject of jackets. I had looked at your store and didn't find what I thought I wanted. I had bought a jacket the day before, at another store, but was not pleased with it. John shared his personal experience and showed us what he had in the Olympia name. We bought them. Now, on the way back to Texas, I noticed my new Aria helmet was not causing any discomfort on my head. This was a first! In fact, I covered 750 miles that first day, whereas before I would've only been able to stand about 500. My enjoyment in riding has reached a level I didn't ever think it would without finding someone to make me a custom molded hat. As simple as it sounds, now, I have spent years and thousands trying to remedy this. I called John to thank him. I want to thank him again, now. My girl and I took a ride west. 10 day loop through New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. We experienced the full range of weather from hot 90's to freezing snow. The Olympia jackets, with the mesh shells and zip out linings made a trip that could've easily been a disappointment into one that was very pleasurable. (John we are coming back for the pants) Everyone that we met at your shop was great. Very nice and helpful. I have to single out John Brannagan for taking the time to make a great sale. Twice. He heard what I was saying and offered the right solutions. I believe his love of riding is reflected in his care for his customers. Thanks John. Know that your dealership has set a very high bar for others to reach. I don't feel I am hard to please, but today, I seem hard to impress. Your dealership and the great team that make it work have impressed me. Ours will be a long distance relationship, but I think we can make it work. Thanks to all.

I got into riding about five years ago in Cincinnati and bought from the local Harley dealer. Part of the experience for me was being able to stop by the dealership, look at bikes, talk to the people who worked there, and just enjoy the atmosphere. It was a great dealership. When I moved to Charlotte I stopped by the BMW dealership just out of curiosity. I found the people there so friendly I went back a few times for the fun of it until I ultimately bought a new R1200RT. Even though my wife said I could keep both bikes, I sold the Harley because I know I would only ride the BMW. I have found the people at the dealership to be great. I didn't find that at some of the other dealerships I visited in the area. The sales, service, and parts people have been great. I enjoy stopping by to look around whenever I'm in the neighborhood and it reminds me of how I enjoyed the Harley dealership back in Cincinnati. The difference is that now I have a better bike! I look forward to meeting people to ride with through my visits to the dealership and attending bike events. I'm glad I found this place. It's been a very pleasant part of my transition to North Carolina.
